Seventh heaven for Beardo

By Lee Ryder on Oct 14, 06 05:36 PM

Peter BeardsleyHe's one of our club legends and he showed last week he can still do the business in Sky's The Match at St James' Park.

Peter Beardsley was asked recently: Which former Toon star has played for seven of the Premiership's current line up of sides?

The answer to this one is of course Beardo after he played for United, Man U, Man City, Liverpool, Everton, Fulham and tomorrow's opponents Bolton.

If you have any more Toon teasers feel free to post them on the Blog.

Well speaking of questions, Why is Newcastle the only premiership club(i'm sure if i'm wrong ill be corrected) without a score board. It is a mystery to me. In my opinion i think Sir John Hall's got it down his garden shed.
I think a club the size of Newcastle, we could afford a state of the art score board (even if it is to show the players how many goals they are losing by, and maybe get them to up their game a bit.
