Bouncing back

Kieron Dyer may have took most of the plaudits after the morale boosting 1-1 draw with the mighty Arsenal but he wasn't the only Tractor Boy who left the Emirates Stadium with something to shout about.

He's had a nightmare this season and gets more stick than anybody else when he makes a mistake, but what about the contribution of Titus Bramble against the Gunners?

He was a tower of strength on Saturday and when he had to do the simple things, such as whack it into row Z, he did just that.

Even when Arsenal unleashed Thierry Henry in the second half Bramble proved what a good player he can be when he wants to.

The introduction of Nigel Pearson appears to be making a difference, even though the former Sheff Wed defender recieved a frosty reception by some Toon fans when he arrived.

The defence picks itself anyway at the moment with just three fit defenders for the clash with Celta Viga on Thursday.

But if Bramble can maintain this new found confidence and concentration for once he might leave Glenn Roeder with a selection headache when others return from injury or come in through the entrance in January.

Is this the start of a new dawn for Bramble or is another comedy or costly error on the way?

I have to say Bramble was class at the Library. But he has done this before, I think it is only a matter of time before the next gaffe

I'm a long term fan of Titus and could write reams on then bad and grossly unfair press he receives.
Well done against the gunners Titus but well done allround. The lad doesn't let the constant snipeing stop him from turning out when others bask on the treatment table or hide behind their poor form. Truth is we need more like Titus at the club and less of this pathalogical critisism of the lad for mistakes which others make but never recieve the vilification he does.
Yes well done Titus, alsos for getting us into the eufa cup last season and keeping us in it this.
Now for the rest of the season and I hope many after that.
