NEWCASTLE United's first game of the season at St James's Park is almost with us and - by the time everybody has got their season tickets safely in time for the match - there won't be too many Toon fans heading to Gallowgate without the thought of victory on their minds.
Last term the opener against Aston Villa resulted in the Toon Ultras' convincing Bring Back the Noise campaign whipping the place into a frenzy and even though the Geordie nation raised the roof at SJP, the Villains still escaped with a point.
But while the 0-0 draw with Villa wasn't a disaster and the fact that Newcastle had a just above average start under Big Sam - one thing the false start did do was put doubts into the minds of most home fans.
Failings such as not being able to score at home crept into United's games later in the season.
In fact, even registering a shot in the Liverpool game was an issue as the steady start unfolded into a farce meaning the first part of the season had cost Newcastle any chance of a decent finish in the table despite NINE new faces/
This time, with only four new players on board, United go into the big clash with Bolton on the back of a superb confidence boosting result at Manchester United.
On the subject of false starts, Bolton's last visit to Tyneside also resulted in another stalemate.
It was 0-0 that day and for all the good Newcastle did at Old Trafford last weekend, 0-0 this time would mean all of that hard work would almost have gone to waste.
WHAT'S YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE BIG CLASH WITH BOLTON?
