Toon name team for Darlo friendly
Newcastle United caretaker boss Chris Hughton once again named Joey Barton in the starting line-up for today's friendly with Darlington.
Barton was joined by Alan Smith in the engine room as Kazenga LuaLua was paired with Shola Ameobi in attack.
Meanwhile Andy Carroll was named as sub.
UNITED: Krul, R Taylor, Beye, S Taylor, Kadar, Smith, Nolan, Barton, Duff, LuaLua, Ameobi.
Subs: Coloccini, Enrique, Guthrie, Jonas, Xisco, Butt, Forster, Carroll, Donaldson.
