Blog on the Tyne at the West Brom match
SO this is it then. The Championship season is about to kick-off as Newcastle United bid to get out of the division at the first time of asking.
I'll be at the Hawthorns to bring you regular updates from the game, take questions and get a bit of banter going between you the fans.
I know you'll all be watching it as it's on the BBC (at least those of you in the UK), but why not join me at the same time and have your say on the action and chat with other supporters about how the match is going.
Thousands of you logged on here during the pre-season friendlies and it would be great to hear from you again, and any new faces out there who didn't get involved last time around.
As usual I'll bring you the colour from the ground and the atmosphere, so fingers crossed that pint on Saturday night tastes a lot better than it did for most of last season.
