Blog on the Tyne at the Plymouth Argyle match

By Lee Ryder on Apr 19, 10 05:21 PM

I'VE travelled to the South coast for tonight's Championship nailbiter against Plymouth Argyle.

In 1993 Newcastle United clinched the Championship trophy in Grimsby. Tonight attention turns to Home Park as Newcastle close in on the famous old silver pot.

The fans have turned up in their droves again to see Newcastle clinch it and with over 5,000 Geordies in Devon to see them do it, the Geordie nation expects.

The longest trip of the season for the Magpies on their Championship tour could see them clinch the title with a draw. A single point will give Newcastle enough to be crowned champions despite West Brom's 2-0 win against Boro on Saturday.

Make sure you don't miss any of the action and colour from Home Park by logging on to Blog on the Tyne at the Match tonight. Come back at 7.30pm for our coverage of the game, or just click the link below to set a reminder.
