Blog on the Tyne at the Carlisle United match

By Lee Ryder on Jul 17, 10 10:00 AM

I'M back on the road again as Newcastle United make the trip to Brunton Park to play Carlisle in the first pre-season friendly.

The joy of last season's title winning push has now subsided and now the hard work starts for the Toon players ahead of the return to the Premier League.

And the task will be even more difficult when you consider the likes of Tottenham and Man City, and of course Arsenal, Man united and Chelsea will be looking to splash the cash.

Normally I can only bring you selected text highlights of the match due to FA rules but since this is a friendly I'll be bringing you every kick, tackle and goal from the match live as it happens.

To get involved, come back here at 12.45pm (it's a 1pm kick-off) or click below to set a reminder.
