The same old story again heh..... All the talk and then they fall flat on the pitch.
The players should not boast so much and first do their job on the pitch.
That was abject. Routledge drifting in and nowhere near the guy he should've been marking in the run up to the penalty, followed by the inability of Perch and Williamson to tackle, followed by a dive by a player who ahould've been off. Neither Jonas or Routledge could provide service for Carroll who was, frankly, poor, or Nolan, who was, frankly, awful. Barton had dreadful first half, Smith was poor, Williamson and Perch were terrible. In fact, about the only players who deserve any praise were Colo and Harper (and the former was lucky not to be sent off for that dreadful tackle on the right). Ben Arfa looked good, so why on earth wasn't he on from the start, preferably instead of Nolan?
If anything good comes of this, maybe Ryder will stop banging on about what a big club we are and what a small club *insert name of anyone but the Big 5* are.
Humility. We need to try it. Even when we win 6-0. Because we come across as mindless, arrogant idiots when we boast about how big we are. We haven't won anything in a VERY long time, and we're an average Premier League side at best.
Rubbish,Rubbish,Rubbish. St James Park a fortress this season don't make me laugh I'm sure every team in the premier league will be shaking in their boots at the prospect of paying at the fortress that is St Jame NOT!!. Why did we play a 4-4-1-1 formation at home against Blackpool for gods sake we beat them 4-1 playing an attacking 4-4-2 in April. Things have got to improve because if we don't then we are in trouble.
Bang on RN.
Up the Pool!
admit it we this years whippin boys with a squad not even anywhere near good enough for the prem not forgetting we just scrapped out of the wordst championship in years grinding out results honeymoon over and a big bubble burst over the pig market we be lucky to stay up god help us when the mackems roll into toon
