Never ending tour continues for Newcastle United in Germany and Austria
Newcastle United will step up their pre-season preparations on Friday as they head to Germany for the first phase of their summer plans as we prepare to fasten our seatbelts for another 10 month rollercoaster.
And as Blog on the Tyne reaches its sixth anniversary, running with a 100% attendance record in friendly and competitive games, we'll be here again for the next three matches as United tackle Chemnitzer, Monaco and Fenerbache in Germany and Austria.
Falling the fortunes of Newcastle United is never dull and if there are half as many thrills and spills as last summer's tour of the United States, there won't be any shortage of reportage once again - hopefully with a more positive feel.
United go into this tour with European football in mind and for the first time in six seasons, competitive action on the continent is on the menu.
Trains, planes and automobiles will be needed to bring you the best coverage on the pitch and what the hardcore bunch of fans who will also make the journey are up to off it.
So stick with www.blogonthetyne.co.uk and log on to www.chroniclelive.co.uk each day for the latest news and views from United's summer tour.
And don't forget you can follow all the action on Twitter.
