Alan Pardew aiming for a "resolution" to end Coloccini uncertainty
ALAN PARDEW says he is looking to resolve the uncertain situation surrounding Fabricio Coloccini sooner rather than later.
The defender has been heaviliy linked with a move to San Lorenzo.
Pardew did not want to go into detail about the South American's future today after the 0-0 draw with Norwich City.
But he did say that he will be holding a meeting with Coloccini to get to the bottom of any potential problems.
Pardew said after the game: "We will speak to him next week and look to come to a resolution.
"We will keep it internal."
Coloccini's name was chanted loudly at Norwich as he helped the Magpies halt a run of seven straight away defeats.
And speaking on Coloccini's performance, he said: "He played well.
"We looked better as a team today."
